Erected in 1905; a 51-foot solid granite obelisk commemorating the birth of Joseph Smith, prophet and founder of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Monument attracts thousands of visitors annually. 350 acres. Beautiful landscaped grounds, quiet contemplation, hiking paths, picnicking. Year-round.
