
Sugarbush Maple and Cheese Farm
Free admission, Free samples of 15 kinds of cheese and 4 grades of maple syrup. This 3 generation family farm is located on a scenic road outside Woodstock.
Visit the tasting room and learn how cheese is packaged in wax for safe travel, Maple syrup is made in the spring but the rest of the year the maple syrup building is re-purposed to an educational sugar house with a video, steps on how maple tree are tapped and the sap boiled down into pure maple syrup, and displays of our family tapping 9000 trees. Take our nature walk into the maple woods to see a display of how tubing is used to collect sap. Make friends with our farm animals during the warmer months.
Our farm shop is located in the historic 1865 farm house with samples of Vermont jams, spreads, mustards and meats. Kids corner with toys, stuffed animals and children's books. Local Vermont crafts and souvenirs. Shipping available.
